Thanks to the generosity of the Oklahoma City community, more than 5,000 members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County (BGCOKC) will experience extra joy this holiday season during the annual Jolly Holiday Giveaway.
Sponsored by Express Employment International and supported by numerous community partners, the giveaway ensures every Club member receives a special gift to brighten their holiday. Each of BGCOKC’s 17 Club locations hosted festive holiday parties where children unwrapped their gifts, played games and celebrated the season with their friends.
“Watching our Club members’ faces light up with joy when they receive their gifts is truly heartwarming,” said Teena Belcik, president and CEO at BGCOKC. “The holidays can be challenging for our families, but the outpouring of community support ensures every child feels seen and celebrated.”
This year’s event would not be possible without the dedication of partners like Express Employment International, Bob Mills Furniture, the Oklahoma City Police Department, Continental Resources and many others who contributed time, resources and holiday spirit.
“We are so grateful for our community partners and volunteers,” said Belcik. “From sponsoring gifts to wrapping presents, it takes a village to make this event a success, and we couldn’t do it without their support.”
